Luzar Sealing Gly
Description
Luzar® Sealing Gly is used to seal water leaks through pores and threads in any kind of installation with water-based and water glycol working fluids.
It is formulated based on mineral components which crystallize in the pores by the air contact, building a permanent layer resistant to heat and pressure that clog the leak in a permanent form.
Once the sealing process has finished, the product can stay in the system without influencing the performance, or it can be discharged to the sewage water system, since the product is harmless.
Suitable for all types of metals and plastics. Compatible with gaskets commonly used in heating-cooling systems.
It incorporates a UV-sensitive colorant to help locate the leaks and verify its right sealing.

Directions for use
Purge the air from the system to avoid air pockets (presence of oxygen) and introduce the product into the installation. Make sure that the product circulates through all the circuits.
Start up the system at its normal operating temperature and let it run. Depending on the characteristics of the installation and the working temperature, the product will act within 2 to 48 hours. High working temperatures (80 °C) accelerate the sealing process almost instantaneously. When working without heat input the process may take longer, but the product is equally effective in low temperature systems.
After this period, check that the installation is sealed. If there are still leaks, increase the operating temperature, if possible, and let it run for another 12 to 24 hours.
In the case of old installations or existing oxidation problems, it is recommended to clean the circuit with Luzar® LD or Luzar® Clean Cool to ensure the proper functioning of the Luzar® Sealing Gly.
Once the sealing process is completed, it is not necessary to drain the circuit. This product does not affect the performance of the system.
