Luzar LD
Description
Luzar® LD is a pH-neutral cleaning product for low- and high-temperature heating circuits. Effective at both high and low temperatures, suitable for all types of installations.
Formulated from fully biodegradable organic acids, it contains a protective additive that ensures the system is thoroughly cleaned without damaging the metals in the circuit. It is compatible with aluminium, copper, brass and steel.
Luzar® LD removes limescale, iron oxides, sediment and biological contaminants from the system, leaving the circuit clean and in optimum working condition.

Directions for use
The duration of the cleaning depends on the type of installation and its condition. Here are some general recommendations:
- High-temperature cleaning: 2 to 4 hours at a temperature of between 50 and 80 °C (higher temperatures allow for faster cleaning). It is recommended that an external pump be used to ensure a good flow rate and turbulent flow during cleaning.
- Low-temperature systems (fan coil units, underfloor heating): introduce the product into the circuit and allow the system to operate as normal for 2 to 4 weeks.
After cleaning, drain the circuit and rinse it thoroughly. Once cleaning is complete, add clean water and the Luzar® 7SR anti-corrosion additive as a preventative measure.

Dosage
Recommended dosage: 0.75 % – 1 % of the total volume of the circuit to be cleaned.
Precautions
Store at a temperature between 5 and 35 °C, in the original, tightly closed container and protected from sunlight. Under these conditions, the product has a shelf life of at least 24 months.
This product is not classified as an irritant or toxic substance under Regulation (EEC) No 2001/58. In any case, it is recommended that the usual precautions be observed when handling chemicals.
